Day one. No small statement. 🐍
If I’m going to commit to 365 nail looks, I figured I might as well come out swinging, and that’s exactly what these 3D snake nails are. We’re talking textured, embellished, full-on serpent energy. The kind of nails that make people stop mid-sentence to ask, “wait, are those real?”
This is Day 1 of my 365 Nail Art Challenge, and I’m not holding back.
About This Look
3D nail art is exactly what it sounds like, building dimension on top of the nail tip so the design literally pops off the surface. It takes patience, but the payoff is unmatched. For this look I used 3D sculpting gel to create the snake body, then added embellishments like rhinestones, more 3D elements, and green iredescent glitter for that glittery finish.
A few things I’ve learned about 3D nail art: creating a thorough plan is best. The snake body on these took a few tries to get the curves right.
Pro tip: If you’re recreating something like this at home, start with a practice nail tip before committing to all ten. Trust me on that one. 😅
